    There are such scenic spots as Pugu Valley, Nengren Temple, Maori Culture Village, No. 1 Peak in Guangzhou, Cloud of Dusk, Mingchun Valley, Dripping Rock, Cuiwei Ancient Road, etc. in this area. It attracts the largest number of tourists.


Pugu Valley is a natural tropical rainforest area with slowly-flowing brook water and an elegant environment.


Maori Sports and Culture Village is a folk-custom village providing leisure, sports, entertainment, sightseeing, and shopping services, where there are such amusement items, e.g. bungee jumping, alpine ski run, alpine grass skiing, Zorb Ball, mini-bungee jumping bed, grass vehicle, archery, urban bullfight, and a series of quality improving items.


Mingchun Valley Currently, it is the largest natural bird cage in China. Covering a land area of 56,000 square meters, it is situated in the Dripping Rock valley between No. 1 Peak in Guangzhou and Nine-Dragon Spring. In the valley, there are a variety of birds. Visitors can learn about bird knowledge and enjoy wonderful bird training. Scenic sports in the valley include bird specimen showroom, large bird cage, rare bird exhibition area, songbird corridor, dripping rock, bird training area, etc.


    The Nengren Temple was built in 1851.The site was originally called the Yuhong Cave in the year 960. At that time, some poets built a pavilion on the rocks, and wrote some poems there.

    A stream flows in the valley. Rainbows can often be seen on the stream after the rains. The reflection of the moon can be seen on the water at night. It is regarded as the best resort in Guangdong Province. It was recorded in history that Dr. Sun Yat-sen and his wife Song Qingling visited this place on May 19, 1924.

    The construction of the original temple lasted for several decades. Unfortunately, due to the natural catastrophes and wars, all the buildings of the temple were destroyed. The path leading to the temple was covered with long grass, and few people reached the place. After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, this relic was restored. A teahouse was built and more and more people visited it.

    Sponsored by Guangzhou Municipal Government, reconstruction of the temple started in the autumn of 1993. More than one year later, a magnificent building was completed and was opened to public on May 1, 1995.

    The temple an area of more than 10,000square meter and has a floor space of over 1,000 square meter. The whole complex is composed of the Daxiongbao Hall, Ciyun Hall, Tianwang Hall, Dizang Hall, Liuzu Hall, a Bell Tower and a Drum Tower. The temple still maintains its traditional style.
