Including such scenic spots as Nine-dragon Spring, Forest of Steles of Guangzhou, Shuangxi Villa, Manor Guesthouse, Moxing Ridge, etc.

    The Moxing Summit is the highest peak of the Baiyun Mountain. With an altitude of 382 metres, different scenery can be seen in different weather conditions. On the rainy days, white clouds can be seen on the top or the foot of the mountain. On fine days, you can have a bird's-eye view of the urban modern buildings spreading all over the city and of the Pearl River running through the vast plain of the Pearl River delta.

    The four Chinese characters, which mean magnificent south sky, inscribed on the archway of the Moxing Summit were written by Zhu De, one of the late Chinese leaders. The couplets on both sides of the archway were written by an ancient Chinese calligrapher. They mean the Pearl Sea shines over the land and the cloud-capped mountains attracting mountaineers.

Nine-dragon Spring It is the most famous spring in Baiyun Mountain. Water of this spring is clear and tastes sweet. Citizens like it very much. In this scenic area, there are Nine-dragon Spring, Nine-dragon-head Water Spray, Nine-dragon Column, Nine-dragon Wall, full of an atmosphere of dragon.

    Forest of Steles of Guangzhou Covering a total area of 16,000 square meters, the forest consists of nearly three hundred steles on which some historic celebrities, poets, and calligrapher's works are engraved. Some steles stand indoors, some outdoors, some on cliffs. They live in perfect harmony with natural sceneries, showing splendid Chinese culture. The forest consists of three areas, Cliff Stone Carving Area, Nanya Hall, and XianmoXuan.

    Shuangxi Villa Formerly it was called Double-Brook Temple. It was named so because two brooks, Yuexi Brook and Ganxi Brook, wound their way along the temple. Later, the two brooks were ruined because of war. In 1964, it was rebuilt. In 1965, premier Zhou Enlai and vice premier Chen Yi once lodged at this villa. In this scenic area, there are such scenic spots as Lu Juren Tomb, Five-Treasure Spring, etc.

    Manor Guesthouse Built in 1964, it is a typical Lingnan style design. Some well-known state leaders, e.g. Zhou Enlai, Guo Moruo, Dong Biwu, Deng Xiaoping, Chenyi, etc., and some foreign friends, e.g. Norodom Sihanouk, once lodged at this guesthouse. It is called the "Diaoyutai State Guesthouse" in south China.
