aimi918 said: Lovely little hotel hidden away in the Hutongs. We had some trouble finding it at first but when we did we were very pleasantly surprised. Service was good with free wifi, laundry offered at a good price and some discounts in local restaurants offered with stay at the hotel. They also advertised help organizing day trips at a reasonable price. My only qualm would be that the rooms were not cleaned and toiletries refreshed while we were there so in some ways it felt more like renting an apartment for a holiday rather than a hotel room. This a cool, quiet and quirky hotel perfectly located near the drum and bell towers and Gulou which is a great location for evenings out in Beijing. (you can even see the bell towers from the hotel!)

From what I overheard through the walls the service isn't too good, no hair dryer, lots of 'I'll fix it tomorrow' - s, and typical Chinese laziness from the staff. I didn't interact with them in English. I'm happy though, it's pretty cozy and has an interesting look.
