Yuchuan Jiushe Art Hotel is located in Yushan Town, Lantian County, Shaanxi Province, 40 kilometers east of the ancient capital Xi'an. Ma Qingyun's hometown is between Qinchuan and Sichuan. The sensibility of the architect makes him turn his nostalgia for his hometown into a utopian dream of vineyard. In 2000, he finally planted his first grape seedling on the sunny slope of Yuchuan and named the winery after the place name to express the wine making concept of respecting the spirit of the place of origin. The winery was completed in the summer of 2007, and the glass brick wall more than 8 meters high has become its landmark element. The accommodation facilities in the form of youth hostels provide a comfortable resting place for urban tourists.
