Featured Artist
    In the past three years, NCPA adheres to operational positioning for high-quality and high-standard refined art and excellent national art, organizes and plans for a total of 16 performance seasons / weeks and 5,274 shows, including 2,213 public-benefit performances and 3,061 commercial performances. 119,000 artists from 481 worldwide performance organs demonstrate their skills on the stage of NCPA.
Repertoire
    Based on the functional positioning as National-level Performing Art Centre, NCPA vigorously promotes self-made plays. Since its inauguration, NCPA produces 21 repertoires and commissioned 13 artworks.
    On December 8, 2009, NCPA Chorus was formally formed. Up to now, it stages a total of 235 performances with 139 shows during 2009-2010 and  96 shows in 2011. On March 30, 2010, China NCPA Orchestra was formally formed. Up to now, it stages a total of 153 performances with 65 shows in 2010 and 88 shows in the past year.
Education
    Since its inauguration, as a nonprofit art organization, NCPA always exercises symbolic function of improving nationals' culture and art quality, and vigorously launches universal art education for general public.
    In the past three years, NCPA plans and organizes 4,192 art education shows and events, from which more than 1.958 million audiences benefit. In this way, NCPA gradually forms regular universal art education system and teaching characteristics of "simultaneous launching of performance and teaching and equal emphasis on appreciation and analysis".
    NCPA has specially created Weekend Concert, Classic Art Lectures, Fruitful Seasons-Stage Art Masterpiece Performance Week of Chinese Art Colleges, Beijing Youth Art Week and many other universal art education brand projects.
Exchange
    In terms of international cultural exchange, about 60 foreign heads of states, dignitaries and leaders of international organizations visit NCPA since its inauguration.
    NCPA establishes working contacts with 99 worldwide art organizations and 107 Foreign Embassies to China, holds NCPA World Theatre Forum in Beijing and other events, and enhances understanding and cooperation with art institutions.
Visit
    Since its inauguration, NCPA has received a total of 2.678 million visitors.
    NCPA holds 128 art exhibitions, such as repertoire exhibition, oil painting exhibition, guqin a seven-stringed plucked instrument exhibition and national gift exhibition for performing arts.
    On an annual basis, NCPA plans for art tour in summer holiday, art tour in autumn and other theme demonstration events so as to provide art experience service for general public.
